What we do

Programmes for Teachers:
Facilitate teacher training programmes: We plan, organise and conduct workshops, seminars and discussion groups which provide frameworks within which teachers, both experienced and novices interact with each other and with specialists invited to lead these programmes. While our special emphasis is on the Diploma Programme (DP) of the International Baccalaureate, we also provide workshops for creating awareness and building knowledge of the best practices in global education.

Organisation of Workshops:
On Site: We tailor make workshops to suit the specific needs of the school; these could be subject specific, grading and assessment, integrating special needs children into the classroom.
Off Site: We offer teacher training workshops for schools on various themes in Goa and other parts of the country. These workshops can be done as short courses or on a long term basis with personalised follow-up contact sessions with programme leaders via email and telephone.

Community Engagement Programmes:
Traditional service programs engage with communities using a “top down” approach, whereas our community engagement programmes work at grass roots levels with the stakeholders and their needs. We initiate and run such programmes that lay the foundations of understanding through direct experience of societies (both rural and urban), their economic and political structures, and their social, cultural and intellectual principles and practices.

Subject Specific Outdoor Programmes:
In order to better grasp theoretical academic concepts, we organise field trips for students for durations of one to seven days.

Leadership Programs:
We help train students to grasp the fundamentals of development, its impact on groups and individuals, and expand their knowledge of the realities of class, gender and sexuality, employing both theoretical and experiential methods. We also build on their ability to observe, listen and understand and work with different people under varied situations. These sessions help develop leadership skills in students, while making them sensitive and aware individuals.

CAS:
We design, and help you run, well rounded and meaningful CAS Programs for IB schools.

Enable philosophical audits:
We audit the foundation on which your educational institution stands: your founding vision, your core convictions, what has changed and why, and which directions you wish to move in. We engage with the board of management, the administration, students, teachers and parents on their understandings of what the school’s mission statement is, its aims and principles, and compare them with the realities which currently prevail. We then suggest ways and means though which this divide (if any) can be bridged, or a new/altered vision be drafted.
